The BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge 2026 is designed to promote excellence in ICT infrastructure by providing professionals with a platform to demonstrate their technical skills, precision, and industry knowledge in a competitive environment.
The challenge is open to ICT infrastructure professionals, system integrators, cabling installers, technicians, engineers, and other individuals involved in structured cabling and network infrastructure projects.
No. Participation in the BICSI Cabling Skills Challenge 2026 is complimentary.
The challenge is limited to twelve (12) participants. Registration will close once all slots have been filled.
The challenge will be conducted as an individual competition.
Participants will be assessed on practical skills related to structured cabling, including copper termination, fibre termination, testing, verification, and troubleshooting activities.
The challenge will be held on 21 & 22 July 2026 at Sunway Resort Hotel, Malaysia, as part of the BICSI Southeast Asia Malaysia Conference & Exhibition 2026.
Top-performing participants will receive prizes and industry recognition. Additional awards and recognition may also be presented during the event.
Yes. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.
The required competition materials and equipment will be provided by the organisers and supporting partners. Further details will be communicated to registered participants prior to the event.
Participants will be assessed based on accuracy, workmanship, compliance with challenge requirements, testing results, and overall performance within the allotted time.
No. BICSI certification is not a mandatory requirement to participate in the challenge.
